【论文摘要】
In this paper, a dual-channel tourism platform supply chain composed of a tourism service provider and a tourism platform under culture-tourism integration is considered. On the basis of the four dynamic game models, we examine the optimal service configuration and selling mode for the tourism service provider and platform, respectively. The findings show that at the low commission rate with rising competition, the tourism platform’s selling mode preference moves from the agency mode to the wholesale mode under the homogeneous service strategy, whereas it shifts oppositely under the differentiated service strategy. Moreover, under the agency mode, the tourism platform’s profitability may decline as the commission rate increases. Counterintuitively, the differentiated service strategy is not dominant for the tourism service provider in most markets, since the demand reduction in the platform channel caused by cultural service differentiation outweighs the gains from the direct channel service premium. Furthermore, the dual-channel tourism platform supply chain always proactively chooses a homogeneous service strategy and favors the agency mode when the commission rate is exceptionally low. Interestingly, in the differentiated-wholesale scenario, channel competition can increase supply chain profits, as the tourism platform lowers its price to increase demand.
